The blockbuster Haskell Invitational at Monmouth Park is almost here. The probable field continues to shape up. Just last week it was announced that the speedy Munnings would go in the Haskell and take on the super filly Rachel Alexandra. The addition of Munnings in the Haskell will in the very least make things interesting. Munnings is a very fast horse, who is solid form, and will make for a quick pace in the race. Belmont Stakes winner Summer Bird is also on target for the one mile and one eighth race, who has been working at Monmouth Park in preparation for The Haskell. Atomic Rain, the sharp Long Branch winner is also a definite for the Haskell. Papa Clem has been an on again off again candidate for the race. A call will be made soon on where he will make his next start. Bunker Hill and Duke of Mischief are both under consideration for the Haskell.
