My biggest concern might be how far he can go. He gets a chance this Saturday, so will see. Lukas knows a thing or two about getting a horse ready for the Derby. He will see Nobles's Promise again.-so things could always change. The final prep is important.

People have different opinions on the races. I thought the Louisiana Derby and Sunland Derby made things a little confusing with two new horses showing up on the scene.

This is a what the Kentucky Derby is all about. Exciting time of year for sure.

    Thanks for the good words.

Your analysis is detailed and sound. The forgotten horse is one I know you don't buy: Dublin.

First, the derby trail is vastly exaggerated by last weekend's results; the Wood and SA Derby IMO raise more questions than answers, and before three major preps are run.

My point: In the Rebel, Dublin lost about 9 lengths to the rail, LAL about 3, and NobProm almost 6. The adjusted margins put Dublin and NobProm in a close finish with LAL 3 back.

Dublin will prevail over an excellent AD field and become the hot item for the Derby. Pleasant Prince will take the Blue Grass and complete a nice exacta for the Derby.

Nice work on your Trail rundown.
